The Winthrop, MA Police Department initially sought a better way to engage with citizens and learn more about how they perceived the service being delivered by the department, and also to specifically learn about which public outreach events were working, and which could use improvement. Initially, this work consisted of surveying before, during, and after each event. We expanded the program to include listening of social and review sites, and most recently have begun to support other departments within the city, including Parks and Recreation.
